Baby C & Big Sister J Photo Shoot

Here is a sneak peek for mom! I took these photos last Thursday. They are the cutest little girls & the tutu and the flower head bands just added to the cuteness! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Baby C was 3 weeks old when we took these pics. She was wide awake for the first part of our shoot.

Big sister J is 22 months old. She was so much fun to work with.

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Over Labor Day weekend, My family had the opportunity to get out of town for a few days and get some riding in. We went to Taylor Park above Gunnison and rode our ATV's on the jeep roads up there. It was beautiful - not too hot & not too cold either. We had a great weekend up there!

This is my mom's kitten Milly. Milly got to come camping with us in my parents motor home and enjoyed herself!

Friday we rode up to see Texas Creek and Texas Lakes. This was taken at the end of the trail for the ATV's.

This was taken at Texas Lake #2. We stopped here and enjoyed the view while we ate lunch.

These are some family friends who came and spent the weekend riding with us.

Beautiful view of one of the peaks we rode near.

Here are 3 of my kiddos while we were riding up Taylor Pass.

This was the view from the top of Richmond Hill.

My silly Boogie after waking up from his nap on the ATV.

Pretty shot of the peaks in Taylor Park

This is my Dad sitting on a boiler at a mine we rode to see.

This is the Lily Pond. I would love to see this pond when the Lillie's are in full bloom!

This is the view from the top of Tellerium Creek.

This is looking at Ptarmigan Lake.

This is my sister having fun crossing Texas Creek.

This is the view as we dropped off Taylor Pass onto Express Creek.

This is what I saw coming down Express Creek. The aspens were just starting to change colors in places.

The is the west loop of Tellerium Creek. Adam and I rode down those switch backs. They were very steep and rocky, but the view was worth it!

This is Adam crossing Tellerium Creek just a second before that wall of water soaked me!

It was an awesome weekend riding in a place I love. I can't wait to go riding up there again.

First Day of School

The first day of school was a big deal at our house this year. Both of the boys started at a new school this year and the girls are of course a year older then last year. Every year as school starts, we take some pictures of them in front of the house wearing their special first day of school outfits & this year was no different.

E. started third grade this year.

N. started 1st grade this year.

C. started preschool two mornings a week this year. He was so excited to wear his "packpack"!

This is C in front of his preschool.

K. started Kindergarten this year and was very excited to be at the same school as his sisters.

These are a couple of pictures I took of C on his third birthday. They show so much of his personality!

August Girl Scout Campout

Now that school has settled in for the year, I have a bit of time to get caught back up on some photos I took in August. These pictures were taken the first weekend of August. We took our Girl Scout troop camping above Ouray near Ironton. It was a very soggy weekend, but we had a ton of fun anyway!

This was taken as we were driving to our camping spot Friday evening. This is just south of Ridgeway.

This is Red Mountain. This was our view as we pulled into camp. It was beautiful!

This is Lady after we hiked to the Colorado Boy Mine head frame.

There were tons of mushrooms all over where we hiked and there were still some wildflowers blooming as well.

This is my family. The last time we had a family picture taken here, K was only 7 weeks old. It is amazing how much our family has changed since then.

This is one of my co-leaders and her kids.

This was most of the group that camped with us in August.

This is what our campsite looked like. It was a miniature tent & tarp city, but we all stayed dry.

This was the view overlooking Ouray as we headed home after an awesome camping trip!
